I have been covering the video series on making custom cornhole boards for a while now. The full series is finally finished and all the videos covering the full construction of a set of custom cornhole boards are here.

In this series of videos they go through basic techniques required to construct a set of custom cornhole boards. Tom, master carpenter, walks the builder through the initial cuts to the finishing touches. So far a number of people have used these videos from YouTube to create sets with success.

A really nice video detailing how to build a cornhole (baggo) board set. I have not seen too many videos out there on the subject of cornhole game board construction. The two others I found on YouTube were video of some guys putting together a board, not really instructional. This video is more geared toward demonstrating, DIY style, how it is done.

Cornhole Game Indoors – staying sane this winter

Summer is great – but pictures like the one below can only be taken for too few days a year. Here in Chicago we get winter, freezing brutal in your face winter. On any given summer I get in maybe 12 – 15 cornhole game sessions and then the winter hits and no more gaming. Last winter was an exception however; there were a few bars that hosted open tournaments all winter long – indoors. I don’t know if everyone knows about this but there are a growing number of bars that host our game indoors. By way of a small sample of the indoor cornhole game venues in my home town of Chicago check out:

Atlantic Bar and Grill at 5062 N Lincoln Ave has open tournament every Thursday indoors
115 Bourbon St has indoor open tournaments on Tuesday’s
Hops and Barley at 4359 N Milwaukee has “Tuesday Night Bags”

For those of you in other cities if you are having trouble finding a game feel free to post a comment to this article asking about a city and I will update the blog for you using my network of secret cornhole game contacts If you really can’t find a game near you you can ask these guys for a custom indoor set.
